Expectations exceeded.
Marine Corps veteran Mike Hudson and I both come from the same small town. In April of this year he texted me while I was in London at 2am and asked me to run the Marine Corps Marathon for him as it was a bucket list goal of his prior to paralysis. I called him that night and said I’ll push you. Before hanging up the phone, his wife had hotels booked and we were registered to run the Marine Corps 26.2 in October.
We did just that yesterday in a garage made chair and spent under four hours doing so.
